Our room was a King Suite, with a nice size kitchen (Larger than the kitchen we used in Alaska for way longer than a night), recliner, desk, and tv/dvd player. Our room was neat and tidy, and smelled fresh and clean when we arrived. The bed was comfortable with a mattress that was not too soft of firm, and they offered foam and down pillows to meet everyones preference.
The in-suite kitchen has an easy to clean, wood style flooring, that came in handy when I dropped my morning coffee, which transitions into carpet in the sleeping area and natural stone tile in the bathroom. Both the kitchen and bathroom countertops were a very pretty granite stone.

I was pleased to see a nice guide to El Paso in our room, along with information on local restaurants and near-by attractions. The location of our stay was perfect for the 4th of July. Candlewood Suites is across the street from Cohen Stadium, where a lovely fireworks display is set off every year, which we watched form the hotel. The hotel’s parking lot connects to a movie theatre as well as a steak restaurant. We enjoyed walking to both during our stay.
Along with a good location, Candlewood Suites offers an on-location gym, business center, and a Cupboard with items like basic toiletries, complimentary coffee (Woohoo) and snacks.
