I love making banana bread. I make it all the time, especially when we need to take a dish to an event or potluck or a bake sale. It is simple to make, and everyone loves it. Every single time that I have made my banana bread for a bake sale, I have sold out long before the sale is over.
Check out my original Banana Bread Recipe here.
Since everyone seems to enjoy my banana bread, I decided to whip up a batch for a National Guard dinner a while back. This time I wanted to make them easier to pick up and eat like a mini dessert or a sweet appetizer. Thats when I remembered I had a great fun pan, the perfect brownie pan, that I could use. I was not certain if the bread would even cook correctly.
I made my original recipe, with one difference. Now this is not a review of the perfect brownie pan, and it does have it’s flaws but it worked for my needs this time. It worked wonderfully. I sprayed the pan down well between each batch of banana bread. Just to make sure my favorite recipe came out well. I baked up 4 batches of banana bread and they were gone by the time dinner was over.
I baked them for 35 minutes at 350. They were the perfect size to pick up and eat without any mess, I will be making these again. Hopefully next time I can get a much better photo.
