This week’s theme for Project 52 is Reflection. I thought about getting the camera out and taking a reflection photo on purpose, but instead I decided that I would do something a bit different. Instead of taking a new picture, I wanted to share an one from the past. One of my many projects, that I love to do.
This coffee mug project was super simple – making it. Photographing it – Not simple at all. Problem one, my background had a pattern and I noticed the pattern was not straight about 10 minutes into take the pictures. By then, the light outside had shifted and was making a lot of reflections from the window onto the mug and from the mug onto the table where it was sitting. This photo day I was not happy with the reflections, I wanted them to go away but today I can enjoy the reflections. Embrace that they did make for some interesting photos, even if that was not what I wanted when I snapped the pictures.
