     I am thankful for wonderful neighbors.  Seems like everywhere that Hubs and I move, we have good neighbors.  Not just friendly, say hi and go about your day neighbors, but genuine people who care about what is going on.          We still get a Christmas card for our neighbor Molly, from Alaska, even though it has been 5 years - and several moves ago.  She still manages to find us.  We only lived next door to her for 3 months before she moved.  We helped her load her truck, and she jumped my Continue reading

Welcome Home: Something good from this weeks chaos

     This week has been full of surprises from the Federal government shutdowns, which have led to all kinds of chaos for Military families, to unexpected new acquaintances.  But within all the ups and downs one has stood out from them all, a Welcome Home for a friend.  After a 9 month deployment, a friend's family is now all back together again.      I wish I could have been at Ft.
