Books 2015

2015 is coming to an end and I am just realizing that I did not read nearly as many books this year.  I guess that means I was out having fun right?  It may also mean that I watched way too many reruns of Golden Girls and The Big Bang Theory.... Either way, here is my list of books for 2015!   Starting a new book today that my Mom sent. Sundays are perfect for reading with a good cup of coffee. #coffee #booksandcoffee #books #ReadingSunday #reading A photo posted by Jessi Continue reading

My favorite book of 2014

My favorite book of 2014

It can be hard to find a good book!  Somedays I can wonder the library or book store, and come home empty handed.  Then there are the days I find 10 books that I need to read right now.  Some turn out to be as good or even better than I had hoped, while others may fall a bit short of my expectations. Thoughts about – At My Grandmother’s Table by Faye Porter

A few weeks ago Hubs and I went out for breakfast, which is not something we do often but it is always a nice way to start the day.  While we were out and about in Missoula I stumbled upon the book, At My Grandmother's Table by Faye Porter.  It is a collection of stories and recipes passed down from one generation to another.  It reminded me so much of my Grandma that I couldn't even read it while we were at the store. I put it back on the shelf and walked away, sometimes it is hard to bring up Continue reading
