22 Reasons to visit me in Missoula!

22 Reasons to visit me in Missoula!

Rivers and mountains and bison, OH MY!  It's that time of year in Western Montana when I start missing people.  It's not quite spring, everything has melted but the blooms have not started to come out yet and it's been more than 6 months since I have seen anyone in my family.  It's this time of year I start dreaming of road trips back to Colorado and Nebraska to see my friends and family.  I have not made that trip in a while, hopefully this year but just because we can sometimes travel to see Continue reading

Saturday morning we spend with his Grandma in the kitchen, making a ton of Red Raspberry Jam.  Yum!  Fresh from her garden, like the berries were picked that morning.  It does not get any fresher than that. (Recipe coming soon!) Then Continue reading

Only In Missoula – Urban Deer Rescue

This week the weather has been a bit wonky back home in Nebraska.  With all of the tornadoes and storms I have been glued to my weather apps watching to make sure family is safe back there.  Its been intense to say the least!  But here in Missoula things have been quiet.  It has been unseasonably cool and rainy, which has been nice.  The deer in the neighborhood have only come by once or twice to say hello as well.  If you follow me on Instagram I am sure you have seen the silly deer in our back Continue reading
