One great part of getting invited to CoffeeCon this year was seeing friends and family. I got to stay with an amazing friend, because her Mama rocks! We met down in El Paso, Texas when both of our Hubs' were stationed at Ft. Bliss and we lived in the same building. We still talk daily, ok several times a day on the phone and both husbands still wonder, what on earth we talk about all the time. As military spouses, we meet friends everywhere we go but we do not always get to see them Continue reading
Traveling can be amazing, it can be an adventure of a lifetime or a short trip to the next town. Traveling for coffee is one of my favorite reasons to hit the open road and explore. A girl, a map, and a travel mug will always find an adventure worth sharing.
Would I make this trip again, knowing everything I know now? In the words of Budder - "YaYa!". Budder is under two, and that is his favorite word it was also his first word as well. I miss that little man, he was our neighbor when we were at Ft. Bliss. But, I am getting off topic I think I need more coffee to focus. I started to combine all of the photos and everything I learned but the post ended up being WAYYYYYYY too long. It even bored me, and I was there! So I decided to break it up. Beginning of the day, the IBEW event center was just starting to fill up! Live music throughout the daypour over coffee maker, I want one! Yep I tried them all! This was the I have Continue reading
Day 4 of driving to CoffeeCon started in Elmwood, Nebraska (H on the map) with the need of getting to I before 3pm. I had to get there in time to shower and then join Amanda at the Bunn hosted cocktail party! I thought that the day was going to be perfect, it was sunny and a good driving temp when I woke up bright and early and hit the road. Again, I had no idea what I was driving into later in the day. As you can see in the photo above, which I did not notice until I was Continue reading
