Buying Guide: Key Purchase Considerations
- Size and versatility: Choose sizes that fit your typical items (cookies, sandwiches, bouquets, or baskets). Multisize options increase flexibility.
- Grease and moisture resistance: Look for wax paper that clearly states greaseproof, oil-proof, or waterproof properties to protect food and containers.
- Color and design: For events, colored or patterned papers help with presentation and food classification.
- Material and safety: Ensure papers are food-grade and free of fluorescent agents or added chemicals if used for edible items.
- Durability: For basket liners and takeout, thicker sheets or those marketed as deli wraps often offer better leak protection.
- Quantity and packaging: Consider bundles that meet your recurring needs to minimize waste and save money over time.
- Decorative vs. practical: Festive designs suit gifts and parties, while plain options may be preferable for everyday use and professional settings.
